Fire Alarm Speakers

Speakers carry recorded and live voice messages from a voice evacuation panel or emergency communications system. System Sensor L-Series high-fidelity speakers come in wall (SPRL, SPWL) and ceiling (SPCRL, SPCWL) formats, plus an 8 inch ceiling speaker (SPCW8) for large open rooms, all with selectable 25 or 70.7 VRMS operation and power taps chosen at install time. Outdoor speakers (SPRK, SPWK, SPCWK) are rated from -40 F to 151 F for wet or dry exterior locations, and tile versions drop into a 2 x 2 ceiling grid.

Low harmonic distortion and a broad frequency response keep speech intelligible, which is the point of a voice system, and the plug-in mounting plate with protective wire cover speeds installation. This section also lists L-Series strobe-only appliances and compact horn strobes that pair with the speakers on the same walls, along with Gentex speaker strobes and fire alarm bells used on the same systems.
