Speaker Strobes
Speaker Strobes
Speaker strobes deliver voice evacuation and emergency communication messages along with a visible signal, the appliance of choice for high-rise, campus, healthcare, and any system designed to NFPA 72 emergency communications requirements. System Sensor L-Series wall speaker strobes (SPSRL red, SPSWL white) and ceiling models (SPSCRL, SPSCWL) offer rotary-switch selection of 25 or 70.7 VRMS operation and power taps, along with seven field-selectable candela settings on wall units, so one device covers a range of room sizes and amplifier loads.
Low total harmonic distortion keeps announcements intelligible even at high volume in noisy spaces. Outdoor and weatherproof versions carry the K suffix (SPSRK, SPSWK, SPSCWK), and high-candela models extend coverage in large rooms. For mass notification, ALERT-printed units with amber lenses and CLR-ALERT clear-lens units meet ANSI/UL 1638 general signaling requirements, while plain and FUEGO housings cover unmarked and bilingual installations. A plug-in design with a universal mounting plate lets installers pre-wire and check continuity before the speaker is attached.
Speaker-only appliances are under speakers, and back boxes, lenses, and expander plates under accessories. Browse the full System Sensor catalog, or contact our team for help with speaker wattage taps and circuit design.
