Horn Strobes

A horn strobe combines a temporal-pattern horn with a visible strobe in one appliance, the standard evacuation signal for most conventional fire alarm systems. The System Sensor L-Series wall horn strobes (P2RL red, P2WL white) are 2-wire devices with seven field-selectable candela settings from 15 to 185 cd and selectable horn tone and volume, and 4-wire models (P4RL, P4WL) serve panels that supply separate horn and strobe circuits. Ceiling-mount versions (PC2RL, PC2WL) and compact single-gang units (P2GRL, P2GWL) fit tight or architectural spaces.

Outdoor and weatherproof horn strobes use the K suffix (P2RK, P2WK), with high-candela outdoor (P2RHK) and 120 VAC (P2RHK-120) models for exterior walls, loading docks, and parking areas, and replacement models (-R) for direct swaps of older SpectrAlert Advance devices. Plain (-P) and FUEGO (-SP) printed housings cover unmarked and bilingual installations. All L-Series horn strobes use a universal mounting plate with a shorting spring for pre-wiring, and they synchronize across a circuit to meet UL 1971 flash requirements.
