Chime Strobes
Chime strobes are private-mode notification appliances: a soft, selectable-output chime paired with a strobe to alert trained staff at a nurse station, security desk, or control room without sounding a building-wide horn. The System Sensor L-Series chime strobes come in white and red housings for wall (CHSWL, CHSRL) and ceiling (CHSCWL, CHSCRL) mounting, with field-selectable candela settings from 15 to 185 cd on wall units so one part number covers most room sizes.
Like the rest of the L-Series, they use a plug-in design with a universal mounting plate and onboard shorting spring, so mounting plates can be pre-wired and continuity checked before the device is plugged in, and they synchronize with other L-Series strobes on the same circuit.
