A chime provides low-key audible notification for private-mode signaling, where the goal is to alert staff rather than evacuate a floor. System Sensor L-Series chimes (CHWL white, CHRL red) mount on a wall, share the plug-in mounting plate used across the L-Series, and run on standard 12 or 24 V notification circuits alongside the company's horns and strobes, which keeps wiring and panel programming simple.
Typical locations are nurse stations, guard desks, dispatch rooms, and lobbies in healthcare and assisted living buildings where a horn would be disruptive. Selectable output lets the installer set the volume for the space.
