Concealed Electric Power Transfer Devices

SDC PTM heavy duty electric power transfer devices provide a concealed and secure means of transferring electric lock and exit device power and signal wires from the frame to the door, and they are completely concealed when the door is closed.

The PTM-10AL has ten 24 gauge wires and an aluminum finish, the PTM-10BZ is a ten conductor version, and the PTM2AL has two 24 gauge wires and an aluminum finish. The all metal design uses stainless steel tubular wire transfer and a heavy cast housing with steel back boxes to provide weather and tamper resistance when the door is open or closed. The PTM is for mortise door and frame installation, fasteners for wood, steel, and aluminum doors and frames are included, and it is UL listed as a miscellaneous fire door accessory. The wires carry power control input for electric locks and exit devices and locked, latched, mantrap, forced entry, and open status signal wiring.
