Power Transfer Loops

SDC PT power transfer loops provide a means of running wires from the frame to doors equipped with electric locks and exit devices, in surface and concealed mortise mount styles.

The PT-3V is a surface mount loop made of 18 inch stainless steel armored flex conduit with an aluminum termination box, and the PT2U is 18 inch stainless steel armored flex conduit with small black plastic end caps. Both are recommended for use with hollow metal and aluminum frames. The PT-3/8V is a power transfer loop with an aluminum wire termination box and a 3/8 inch inner diameter. The PT-5 is a heavy duty concealed mortise mount power transfer device, UL listed as a miscellaneous fire door accessory and listed as UL 10C positive pressure compliant and UBC 7-2 fire test for door assemblies compliant.
