Illuminated Piezoelectric Exit Switches

The SDC 463U is a heavy duty, illuminated, vandal resistant request-to-exit switch made of stainless steel with billion-cycle piezoelectric push switch technology and a weatherized design.

A jumper selectable, bi-colored illumination status shows Relay ON or Relay OFF status in red, green, or no illumination. With an adjustable 1 to 40 second output time, the 463U can control an automatic door, electric lock, or access control request-to-exit input, and a jumper selects failsafe operation, in which a switch failure releases a failsafe locking device. The single gang 463U measures 4.5 H x 2.75 W x 1.25 D inches, takes a 12/24VDC input, has an SPDT 3 Amp @ 30VDC output, and operates from -40 F to +160 F. Relay life expectancy is 100,000 cycles at 3A 30VDC and 200,000 cycles at 1A 30VDC, and current draw ranges from 10mA idle with the LED off to 120mA active with the LED on.

The 463NU has the same illumination, timer, and output features in a 4.5 H x 1.75 W x 1.25 D inch size.
