Touchless Exit Switches

SDC 470 series sanitary touchless exit switches use an infrared sensor that senses the wave of a hand up to 5 inches away, with no moving parts.

The 474DU is a stainless steel touchless exit switch with a wave to exit LED and bi-color status illumination, red in standby and green when active. It controls electric locks and strikes, magnetic locks, or automatic door operators through 2-SPDT, 3 Amp dry contacts for lock release and door opener activation. Input is 12/24VDC with a draw of 25mA in standby and 55mA active, and activation time is 1 second or as long as the sensor is triggered. Listed sanitary environments include bathrooms, cleanrooms, hospitals, labs, schools, and offices.

The 474MU is a single gang infrared touchless exit switch with a manual override button, two relays, and a delay of 5 seconds or as long as the sensor is triggered, for indoor use. The 474D is also listed.
