Weather Resistant Request-to-Exit Switch Bars

These SDC switch bars are weather resistant versions of the MSB550 mechanical request-to-exit bar, with two SPDT contacts, designed to release electromagnetic door locks for uninhibited egress.

When slight pressure is applied, a microswitch is actuated, immediately releasing the electromagnetic door lock, with a maximum movement of only .125 inch. The bars use heavy-duty aluminum extrusion with rugged end caps and an all metal mounting assembly, project only 1.875 inches from the door, and may be field cut. The MSB5502VW is UL Listed as Access Control System Units and Burglary Resistant and CSFM listed, and weather resistant bars are listed for 36, 42, and 48 inch doors.
