Intelligent EcoMag Magnalocks

An intelligent Magnalock reports what is happening at the door rather than only holding it shut. For an access control system that means fewer blind spots: it can tell a door that is closed and locked from one that is closed but not bonded, propped open, or being forced, and it can do so while drawing less power than a conventional maglock.

The EcoMag line covers two holding forces, the M680E at 1,200 pounds and the M380E at 600 pounds, both with dual 12 or 24 VDC operation, status LEDs, and tamper sensing. Part numbers describe the monitoring package. EBD models include the BondSTAT magnetic bond sensor, which confirms full contact between magnet and armature, together with a door position switch. EBDX models add request-to-exit capability, which can reduce the separate hardware and wiring a door needs. Lower power consumption reduces the size of the power supply and standby batteries a multi-door system needs, which adds up across a building. Multiple architectural finishes are available to match surrounding hardware.
