Edwards Signaling 276-K2 Key & Tag (for Presignal Manual Stations)
The Kidde Cat. No. 276B/277B series noncoded fire alarm stations have a modern Lexan design and may be easily configured to fit a wide range of operating requirements.
Single action stations with connectors for field wire connections make up the Cat. No. 276B series.
Although the Cat. No. 277B series likewise consists of single action stations, the field wiring connections are made using 6" (150mm) wire leads.
With single or double pole alarm contacts that can be normally open, normally closed, or a mix of the two, all sorts are available. Depending on the station chosen, a key or tool is needed to reset the mechanism. For precise catalog numbers and features, refer to the specification chart.
Use a normal North American 4 inch square box with a single gang plaster cover that has an overall minimum depth of 2-1/4 inches for semi flush mounting (57mm). Use a surface back box for surface mounting.
Pull down on the handle with the words "Pull for Fire" to sound an alert and break the glass rod.
As long as the station is not manually reset, the alarm handle latches in the pushed position. To reset, open the station with the included Cat. No. 276-K1 key or a tool, move the toggle switch back to its default setting, replace the break glass rod, and then close the station. Authorized employees can activate the general alarm on presignal type stations by inserting the Cat. No. 276-K2 key into the keyswitch behind the alarm handle and twisting it clockwise.
