Piezos

Piezo Alerts

Piezo alerts are solid state electronic audible signal devices that produce a strong sound with minimum current draw.

The PAL-328N operates from as little as 3VDC to as much as 28VDC and is rated at 20mA, with sound output that rises with input voltage, from a minimum of 68dB to over 100dB at 28VDC at 1 ft. Unscrewing its face nut lets it be inserted into a standard knockout hole, or it can be surface mounted with the two loops on its base, while the PAL-328 installs with the two loops only. The PAL piezos operate in free air only, are not for under water applications, and have a recommended operating range of -13F to 158F.

The ESZ-25 and ESZ-26 operate from 5V DC to 28V DC and are rated at 20mA at 24V DC. They are extremely quiet on standby because they have no oscillator coils, which is why they are recommended for use on microcomputer electronic equipment. The ESZ-25S is a continuous 2 wire model, the ESZ-25B is continuous or intermittent with 3 wires, and the ESZ-26B is continuous or intermittent with terminals.
