Keyscan Access Control Readers and Keypads

Keyscan readers cover 125 kHz proximity and 13.56 MHz contactless credentials in mullion, single gang and wall switch form factors. The K-PROX2 suits mullion or single gang electrical box mounting and reads HID proximity cards and tags over a range of Wiegand protocols, the K-KPR pairs 125 kHz proximity reading with a keypad and an onboard beeper, and the K-VAN is the vandal resistant model for indoor or outdoor openings where rough treatment is expected. The WSSKP-1 stainless steel keypad connects to any Keyscan controller as an alternative to a card reader, and HID compatible readers such as the Mini Prox and Prox Pro with keypad are listed alongside.

On the smart card side, the K-SMART is a 13.56 MHz contactless reader that adds AES multi-layer encryption on top of smart card security. For gates, parking and long-range openings, the K-TX2 is a 4-button RF transmitter with a 125 kHz proximity coil, tested past 35,000 button presses, with a receiver in a weather resistant enclosure and an adjustable range from 1 to 150 feet.
