Keyscan Access Control Peripherals

These are the parts that connect, power and support a Keyscan system. Communication gear includes the USB-SER converter, which works as an RS-485 to USB and RS232 to USB adapter and draws power from the USB port for control computers without serial ports, the NETCOM2 off-board TCP/IP module at 12 VDC and 270 mA for existing LAN and WAN networks, legacy RS-485 communication boards and 12VDC modems.

The WIEEX2 Wiegand communications line extender carries a reader run past the standard 500 ft Wiegand limit, and an I/O board with enclosure and power supply supports access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV cameras, doors, push buttons, relays and sensors. Power supplies, photo ID cameras, scanners and card printers and locking hardware such as rim strikes and dual magnetic locks round out the branch.
