Keyscan WIEEX2 Wiegand Communications Line Extender


  • Also known as: CQ-WIEEX2, KEY-WIEEX2

    • Keyscan WIEEX2 receiver and transmitter modules extend a 500 ft (152 m) Wiegand cable to 1220 feet (4000 m) utilizing RS485 communication. Standard Wiegand communication length is 500 ft. Beyond that, dependability issues occur. Use Keyscan's WIEEX2 Wiegand Extender for cable runs longer than 500 feet. This gadget converts Wiegand single to standard RS485 for a 2000-foot communication range between WIEEX2 receiver and transmitter utilizing normal CAT 5 cable. If electrical isolation over lengthy cable lines is desired, the standard RS485 output offers up alternative design choices, such as RS485 to fiber optic modems.    		Features:
