Keyscan Network and Serial Communication Adapters

These adapters connect an access control panel to a host computer or a network. The USB-SER works as an RS-485 to USB and RS232 to USB converter, draws its power from the USB port and is the usual answer for a control computer with no serial port. The NETCOM2 is an off-board TCP/IP communication module at 12 VDC and 270 mA that joins an existing LAN or WAN, with DIP switches for setup, and it works with both current and older access control devices.

Legacy options include an RS-485 communication board and 12VDC modems for dial-up connections to a host PC, which keep an older site running without replacing the panel.

See peripherals for power supplies and photo ID gear and door control for the panels these connect, or browse the full Keyscan catalog.
