Door Controllers and Interface Modules
NXT controllers run doors over TCP/IP. The 4-door, 8-reader controller with Mercury firmware supports up to 100,000 cardholders, stores up to 50,000 events, has onboard Ethernet and takes OSDP readers with entry and exit readers on the same RS-485 bus, and 2-door, 4-reader versions are listed alongside it, with and without enclosures. The NXT-RM3 reader interface module connects readers with industry standard Wiegand output to NXT controllers and also takes Keri MS Series proximity readers, which is how a legacy site keeps its readers when the panel is replaced. Power supplies are listed at 12VDC with a battery charge circuit and universal 100 to 240 VAC input, along with additional software gateways that also support Aperio, WI-Q and AD wireless locks. Proximity Readers
NXT readers cover a mullion reader for metal window and door frames, wall switch readers in entry and exit versions and a reader with an integrated keypad. MicroStar readers are ultra-thin and mount to a flat wall or a single gang electrical box, in mullion, MiniStar and SuperStar versions. Farpointe Pyramid Series readers use contactless RFID at 125 kHz and interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems. See readers.
Cards, Key Tags and Transmitters
The standard light proximity card is thin enough to be wallet-friendly, carries a lifetime warranty, comes with a vertical slot punch and accepts photos and graphics through industry standard adhesive packs, in 26 bit and other formats. Key ring tags are permanently marked with a date code and ID number and program in custom Wiegand formats as well as standard 26-bit, adhesive proximity patches stick to almost anything and read through nonmetallic objects, and multi-technology cards add a magnetic stripe with 128-Encryption. For gates and parking, KeriKey handheld transmitters pair with receivers at 433.92 MHz, and long-range Ranger receivers are listed with a 100 foot range. See credentials.
Telephone Entry and Turnstiles
EntraGuard telephone entry panels let tenants speak to visitors and release the door, listed as a Silver panel with a large font LCD display and 750 tenant capacity, a Titanium panel with a small footprint and 250 tenant capacity, and a Platinum panel for large buildings with the largest capacity and display in the line, with heaters, postal lock kits and recess mount kits as accessories.
