HPC Latch and Bolt Guard Plates

Any door with a spring latch lock benefits from a latch and bolt guard. The flanges on these plates keep prying tools away from the latch, and the plates are made of heavy gauge cold rolled steel with bright zinc plating. One style screws directly onto the edge of the door.

Offset guard plates suit vestibule doors with projecting casings, where the door is not flush with the frame. They install with 2 drilled holes and a pair of through bolts and nuts, run 14 inches overall to extend 3 inches past the average lock face, and are listed in four offsets from 1/4 inch to 9/16 inch. A heavy-duty plate is welded from 2 pieces of 16 gauge steel with a baked matte bronze finish, mounts on carriage bolts with cap nuts inside and adds 4 wood screws into the door edge. Every guard plate comes with the hardware and illustrated instructions.
