HPC Door Guards and Guard Plates

HPC door guards protect the two points an attack usually targets: the lock cylinder and the latch. Cylinder guards are case hardened steel rings that spin freely around the cylinder so a wrench cannot grip it, and heavier guards built from cast steel components shield lock cylinders on narrow stile aluminum doors, where an unprotected cylinder can be pulled, twisted or drilled out.

Latch and bolt guard plates are made of heavy gauge cold rolled steel with flanges that keep prying tools away from a spring latch. Flat plates screw onto the door edge, offset plates suit vestibule doors with projecting casings, and a heavy-duty version is welded from two pieces of steel and through bolted. All guard plates come with the necessary hardware and illustrated instructions.
