Multi-Format Recorders

Honeywell Multi Format Recorders

Multi format means one recorder that accepts more than one camera signal. That is what makes a phased upgrade possible: keep the coax cameras running while new network cameras go in, on the same box and the same timeline.

Two families are listed. The HQA DVRs record at 1080p and are listed in four, eight and sixteen channel versions with 1TB, 2TB and 4TB of storage.

The hybrid DVRs record at 4MP and accept HQA, CVBS and IP together, listed in 8 and 16 channels with 2TB, 4TB, 6TB and 12TB of storage. Every unit in both families has two SATA bays, so storage can be changed later.
