System Accessories

Accessories are what turn a Honeywell alarm panel into a system that fits the building it protects. Some extend what the panel controls, such as Z-Wave Plus lighting and appliance modules that let a user dim a lamp, switch an outlet, or run a schedule from the same app used to arm and disarm. Others solve installation problems, letting existing wiring carry into a newer wireless panel instead of being abandoned.

Automation modules install like ordinary devices: in-wall switches and dimmers replace a standard wall switch, in-wall outlets replace a duplex receptacle, and plug-in modules need no wiring at all. Once enrolled, they appear alongside security zones for remote control, scheduled operation, and rules that tie lighting to arming, disarming, or an alarm event.
