The HES 1500-106 Accessory Series provides Adapter and Trim Enhancer Kits for the HES 1500 Series electric strikes to enhance both locks and the décor theme in both commercial and residential applications. These kits provide the latest innovations in lock operation, items allow for locks to operate better, and the kits blend perfectly with the current styles in décor. With the ease of installation, the HES 1500-106 kits can be used to upgrade old strike systems to provide the most recent improvements in electro-mechanical lock performance.

Technical Specifications

The HES 1500-106 series is made from heavy-duty stainless steel, ensuring reliable performance and longevity compared to similar riveted installations. Each faceplate is 1-1/4" (31.8 mm) wide x 4-7/8" (123.4 mm) tall, giving you versatility when matching the dimensions to a door frame. Each kit will accommodate cylindrical and mortise locksets with latchbolts up to 3/4"; most locking mechanisms available fall within this range. Each kit is also designed for installation in hollow metal, concrete filled metal, or aluminum door frames, providing robust options for install.

Application and Installation

The HES 1500-106 kits are designed with a simple installation in mind, and each kit includes pre-drilled mounting holes to enable a secure and stable fitting into the doorframe. Once the HES 1500-106 trim enhancement kits are correctly fit and installed into the door frame and electric strike is mounted to the properly fit trim enhancement kit, the electric strike will work effectively to keep the keeper securely back into the locked position upon releasing latchbolt.
