Emergency Voice Evacuation & Mass Notification

Voice evacuation replaces a horn with a spoken instruction, which is the difference between people hearing a noise and people knowing what to do. Codes require it in many assembly occupancies, schools, high-rise buildings, and healthcare facilities, and the same system can carry non-fire emergency messages such as severe weather or lockdown under the emergency communication provisions of NFPA 72.

The ECC-50/100 Emergency Command Center is the core. It provides supervised recorded and live voice messaging with 50 watts of audio power, expandable to 100 watts, and integrates with the fire alarm panel so the right message plays automatically on alarm. Larger buildings add distributed amplifiers placed near the areas they serve, which shortens speaker wire runs: the ECC-50DA at 50 watts, the ECC-50BDA with battery backup at 50 or 100 watts on 25 or 70.7 Vrms circuits, and the ECC-125DA at 125 watts. Remote consoles extend control through the building, with the ECC-LOC local operator console, the ECC-RPU remote page unit, and the ECC-RM remote microphone, and the ECC-FFT firefighter telephone system provides supervised handset communication for responders.

Pair with addressable panels, add status displays under annunciators, and power under power supplies. Browse the full Fire-Lite catalog. Contact our team for amplifier sizing and speaker layout.
