Remote Annunciators & Accessories

A fire alarm panel usually lives in an electrical room or a closet, which is rarely where responders walk in. Annunciators put the panel's information where it is needed, most often at the entrance the fire department uses, so arriving crews can see what is in alarm and where without hunting for the control panel. The same bus that carries the annunciator also carries a set of accessory modules that extend what the panel can show and switch.

Most of this hardware rides the two-wire ANN-BUS, so it wires simply and is supervised by the panel. The ANN-80 is the standard 80-character LCD annunciator that mirrors the panel display along with AC power, alarm, trouble, supervisory, and alarm silenced indicators. Around it sit LED annunciator modules that show status by zone or point, the ANN-I/O driver for custom graphic map annunciators, the ANN-RLY module with ten programmable Form C relays, and the ANN-S/PG interface that sends event logs and detector reports to a printer.
