Push Plates and Touchless Switches

The 10PBS451 is a 4-1/2 inch stainless steel square push plate with "PUSH TO OPEN" and the ADA logo embossed on the plate, and it can connect wirelessly to BEA transmitters or be hardwired to the door operator. The 10PBS1 is the 4-3/4 inch square version, and the 6" 10PBS61 gives a larger activation surface. The LPR36 is a 36 inch actuator that satisfies local ADA requirements for high and low actuators, with four membrane switches across a stainless steel plate; see push plates and push plate packages. Magic Switch touchless actuators such as the 10MS41-S use microwave motion technology for touchless activation, and the 10MS08U suits clean rooms, healthcare facilities and food processing plants.

Wireless Transmitters and Receivers

The 10TD433PB9V is a 433 MHz 1-button digital transmitter powered by a 9-volt battery that sends a different rolling code each time it is used, and one 10RD433 receiver supports up to 100 transmitters. The 900 MHz family, including the 10TD900PB push button transmitter, the 10TD900HH1 handheld with up to 500 feet line-of-sight range and the 10RD900 receiver, follows FCC Part 15 certification and offers longer line-of-sight transmission distances than older wireless frequencies. Door Motion and Presence Sensors

For sliding doors, the IXIO-DT1 motion and presence sensor has ten microwave activation sensitivity settings and three infrared safety immunity settings and can distinguish between approaching and departing traffic, and the IXIO-ST presence sensor programs through a menu-driven LCD. The EAGLE ARTEK microwave motion sensor works at 24.15 GHz and senses motion of just 2 inches per second. For swing doors, the LZR-FLATSCAN laser safety sensor covers the whole face of a single door leaf, including the hinge area. For industrial automation, Falcon microwave sensors and LZR laser scanners serve industrial doors, vehicle gates and loading docks.

Logic Modules, Locks and Request to Exit

The 10BR3X is a 3-relay logic module with washroom functions, and it drives the BEA restroom kit for single occupancy restrooms with the illuminated 10PTLBUTTON push-to-lock button. The BR3 has 12 programmable functions and can power electric strikes and magnetic locks from a WET output on relay 1 without an external power supply. For security and access, the UL 294 listed R2E-100 focuses an active infrared zone on the door handle so it only detects people intending to exit, and the catalog also lists the 10MAGLOCK3UL 600 lb UL listed maglock and the 10CYLINDERKA keyed alike cylinder.
