BEA Laser Safety Sensors for Swing Doors

The LZR-FLATSCAN SW is a standalone safety sensor for automatic pedestrian swing doors, using a laser-based time-of-flight presence sensor in a single curtain mounted on the door. It works on full and low-energy swing doors and can also serve as a reactivation sensor on the approach side of low energy doors. With 170 detection points over a single curtain it covers the whole face of a single door leaf, including the hinge area, where 100 sensor points help safeguard hands and fingers while the door moves. It meets section 8.1.4 of the 156.10 standard and can exceed its section 8.2.2.3 detection area.
