Single-curtain standalone safety system mounted on doors for full and low-energy swing doors
The LZR -FLATSCAN SW from BEA is a standalone safety sensor for automatic pedestrian swing doors that uses a LASER-based Time-of-Flight presence sensor. This technology can also be applied to low energy doors' approach side as a reactivation sensor.
The LZR-FLATSCAN SW can cover the whole face of a single door leaf, including the hinge area, thanks to the advanced technology that provides 170 detection points over a single curtain.
The door's hinge area has 100 sensor points that are used by Finger Detection TechnologyTM to safeguard hands and fingers when the door is in motion.
The 156.10 section 8.2.2.3 standard for detection area can be exceeded, and section 8.1.4 is met by the LZR-FLATSCAN SW.
