Deadlocks
Adams Rite Deadlocks
Adams Rite deadlocks deliver heavy-duty, high-security locking for narrow-stile aluminum, all-glass, hollow metal, and wood doors in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. Built to resist forced and pry attacks, they secure single-leaf and paired exterior doors, with corrosion-resistant options for outdoor and marine locations. An ASSA ABLOY brand, Adams Rite offers mechanical MS deadlocks and electronic glass-door locks to fit almost any opening.
MS Maximum Security Deadlocks
The MS line is the core of Adams Rite security. The MS1850S Series secures single-leaf narrow-stile aluminum doors with a laminated stainless steel bolt that defeats forced entry, while the MS1850SN uses a stainless steel hook bolt on a pivot for hollow metal and wood doors, installed to ANSI specifications. The MS1950 Series throws a 3-inch laminated stainless steel hook bolt for narrow-stile aluminum doors where maximum resistance to prying is required.
Two-Point & Multipurpose Deadlocks
For pairs of doors, the MS1837 two-point deadlock secures both leaves of wood door pairs and eliminates the flush bolts usually needed in the inactive leaf. The MS+1890 multipurpose deadlock/deadlatch controls two-way traffic during business hours and converts to a maximum-security deadlock after hours, ideal for banks and retail. Two-point deadbolts that throw from either side suit security screens, roll-up doors, and overhead doors.
Narrow-Stile & Bottom-Rail Deadlocks
For ultra-narrow stile aluminum and tempered glass doors, the 1830 Series swing bolt locks at the bottom rail with a tamper-proof, minimum-threshold design and an armored faceplate that protects the cylinder screws. The MS1861 bottom rail deadbolt fits a hardened steel bolt into the limited space of ultra-narrow stile doors, with small strike holes that resist debris and snagging, and the MS1847 deadlock/latch secures narrow-stile aluminum sliding doors with a self-protecting, adjustable bolt.
Heavy-Duty, Projection & Sliding Deadbolts
The 2331 Series deadbolt fastens heavy-duty hollow metal and wood sliding doors, throwing a large brass bolt and releasing two stainless steel dogs to lock the door. The 4070 Series is a projection-style short-throw deadbolt for projected-bolt installations where a long-throw MS deadbolt will not fit, delivering the longest throw available from a narrow stile, with the 4170 trim strike for wood. The 5017 deadlock/deadlatch and the 5500 deadlock package secure sliding wood doors with 1,000 pounds of holding strength, an adjustable hook bolt, and emergency override.
Dual Force Deadbolt/Deadlatch
The Dual Force combines deadbolt and deadlatch functions for fast, panic-proof exiting: the 2190 model fits narrow-stile aluminum doors and the 2290 model fits hollow wood and metal doors, both with an electrified trim set for integration with an access control system.
Electronic Glass Door Locks
For all-glass openings, the Touch 1050 brings keyless, touchscreen access control to glass doors with a clean, modern look, and the G100 wireless lock surface-mounts to a glass door to add digital access control to interior office spaces without extensive modification.
