Currently on the market is the Von Duprin QEL99EO 4 US28 Aluminum Finish Four Foot Quiet Electric Latch Retraction Panic Bar Exit Only.

The Von Duprin 98 and 99 series exit devices are suitable for all single door and double doors with a mullion configuration. They are positioned within doors to provide an exit during emergencies when the door will open by pushing against the bar. While the 99 series has a grooved mechanism case, the 98 series panic bars have a smooth mechanism case. Since this rim device is non-handed, it can be fitted on doors that open in either the left or the right direction. These components are Grade 1 door hardware and meet the requirements of ANSI A156.32014.

Through a switch, the Quiet Electric Latch Retraction function enables bolt retraction. By doing this, the exit door it is mounted on becomes a push-pull entry door.

There is no trim hardware for the exterior of the door included with the exit-only function panic bar. If used, it would prevent reentry and only permit exit through the door. The Trim needs to be bought separately.

This hardware cannot be used on a fire door since it is not fire rated.

The aluminum finish is available for this Von Duprin series quiet electric latch retraction panic bar.
