The Von Duprin 98EO-F-4-313 is a rim fire exit device designed for single or double doors with a door length of 2'10" to 4'. The unit is equipped with a smooth mechanism case and no outside trim. The device features a dark bronze finish.



98-F rim fire exit devices are for all types of single doors up to 4 x 10 (1219mm x 3048mm) or 8 x 10 (2438mm x 3048mm) double doors with 9954 or 985mullionson, UL listed for Fire Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1. The 98-F device has a smooth mechanism case. The rim device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: -2 (Double Cylinder) or SS (Signal Switch).

The Von Duprin 98EO-F-313-4 series exit device is well built from heavy gauge rolled steel section and features the tried-and-true heavy-duty touch bar mechanism that has been used so successfully in all architectural grade Von Duprin touch bar devices. It is suitable for all types of single doors up to 4' x 10' (1219mm x 3048mm) or 8' x 10' (2438mm x 3048mm) double doors with 9954 or 9854 mullion. The 98-rim exit device, which features a contemporary touch bar style and hardware that is UL approved for fire exit hardware, is a more affordable option. It is intended primarily for usage in environments where frequent abusive treatment is to be anticipated. On the door's egress side are touch bar exit mechanisms placed. These gadgets have a push bar region for escape and an enclosed mechanism case.
