9847 concealed vertical rod device for use on single or double metal doors, UL listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 2001 Grade 1. The 9847 device features a smooth mechanism case. The concealed vertical rod device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: SD (Special Dogging), or SS (Signal Switch).

This item fits a 48" door.

The Von Duprin 9847EO-F-313-4 series of exit devices for use on pairs of doors up to 8' x 10' (2438mm x 3048mm) is well constructed from heavy gauge rolled steel section with the proven heavy-duty touch bar mechanism that has been used so successfully in all architectural grade Von Duprin touch bar devices. The 9847 vertical rod exit device, which features a contemporary touch bar style with hardware that is UL approved for fire exit hardware, is the more affordable option. It is intended primarily for usage in environments where frequent abusive treatment is to be anticipated. On the door's egress side are touch bar exit mechanisms placed. These gadgets have a push bar region for escape and an enclosed mechanism case.
