The Silent Knight SK-MINIMON is a compact, intelligent addressable monitor module designed to connect normally open dry-contact initiating devices to compatible Silent Knight IntelliKnight fire alarm control panels. Manufactured by Honeywell Silent Knight, the module provides one supervised Class B (Style B) initiating device circuit (IDC) for monitoring manual fire alarm pull stations, sprinkler waterflow switches, and other approved contact-operated fire alarm devices. Its individually addressable design allows the fire alarm control panel to identify and monitor the connected initiating circuit, providing point-specific alarm and trouble information. Unlike conventional input circuits that may monitor multiple devices as a common zone, the SK-MINIMON provides a dedicated address for its supervised input. This configuration supports commercial and institutional fire protection systems requiring individually identifiable initiating points while minimizing the space needed for addressable monitoring equipment.

The SK-MINIMON operates on 15-32 VDC supplied by the compatible fire alarm panel's signaling line circuit (SLC), eliminating the need for a separate module power supply. Its low-current design draws a maximum of 375 microamps during group polling, 350 microamps during direct polling, and 600 microamps while communicating with a shorted initiating device circuit. The module incorporates a 47K-ohm end-of-line (EOL) resistor to supervise the Class B initiating circuit and detect applicable wiring faults. Unlike the larger Silent Knight SK-MONITOR, the SK-MINIMON is specifically designed for concealed installation in compact electrical boxes where only one supervised contact input is needed. It does not provide a relay output, notification appliance power, or direct smoke-sensing capability; its primary function is to interface compatible dry-contact initiating devices with the addressable fire alarm system.
