Silent Knight 6808 Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel

The Honeywell Silent Knight 6808 is a 198-point addressable fire alarm control panel with a built-in SLC, 4 Flexput circuits, and a 6 A power supply. It supports up to 99 SK sensors plus 99 SK modules or 127 SD devices, includes built-in POTS and IP communications, supports SWIFT wireless detection, and can network with up to 17 compatible fire alarm control panels.

The Honeywell Silent Knight 6808 is an addressable fire alarm control panel designed for commercial fire detection and notification systems requiring up to 198 System Sensor SK protocol points. Its built-in signaling line circuit supports up to 99 SK sensors and 99 SK modules, or up to 127 Hochiki SD protocol devices. SK and SD devices operate as separate protocol configurations and cannot be mixed within the same 6808 fire alarm system.

The 6808 provides 4 onboard Flexput notification appliance circuits and a 6 A power supply for notification and auxiliary power applications. The NAC capacity can be expanded to as many as 36 circuits with compatible expansion hardware. The panel also provides 2 programmable Form C relays, 1 Form C trouble relay, 125 software zones, and 125 output groups for configurable alarm, supervisory, notification, and control functions.

Integrated communications include built-in dual-line POTS and IP alarm reporting with optional cellular communication. An optional SK-NIC network interface allows up to 17 compatible fire alarm control panels to operate on a common communications and annunciation network using copper or fiber connections. The 6808 also supports up to 12 remote annunciators and Honeywell SWIFT wireless fire detection through a Class A mesh network for locations where conventional field wiring is difficult or impractical.

The Silent Knight 6808 includes automatic detector drift compensation, NFPA 72 sensitivity testing, JumpStart auto-programming, and a nonvolatile 1,000-event history buffer. Programming can be performed from the panel interface or through Honeywell Fire Software Suite (HFSS), while the built-in USB interface supports local programming and firmware maintenance. The 6808 is UL Listed, FM Approved, and supports Class A and Class B configurations for commercial addressable fire alarm applications.
