Potter / Amseco PAD 200-PD Analog Addressable Photoelectric Smoke Sensor (Replaces PAD100-PD)

The Potter Addressable Device (PAD) protocol-compliant fire alarm control panels are compatible with the specified Analog Addressable smoke sensor known as the Photoelectric Smoke Sensor. A low-profile smoke sensor with a broad sensitivity range is the PAD200-PD. To blend in with the ceiling, the sensor and base (which are not included) are constructed of sturdy plastic in an off-white tint.

The PAD200-PD is UL certified and has a sensitivity range of 1.0 to 3.7% per foot. The PAD200-PD contains built-in dirty detector warning and drift compensating features. The system analyzes the data at the specific device while the PAD200-PD and control panel communicate using a tried-and-true digital communication method. The total polling speed is substantially below the UL standards at less than five (5) seconds.

The sensor easily twists on and is compatible with all PAD series sensor bases. The PAD200-PD is programmed in the field without the use of special tools utilizing DIP switches on the sensor's back.
