A hearing-impaired, ADA-compliant, auto-synchronizing alarm horn and LED warning light/beacon, the HazLoc D2xC2LD3, have been tested to UL464 and UL1971 standards. 20ms pulse with UL1971 rating of 79.3cd and NFPA 72 compliance.
The D2xC2LD3 makes use of a variety of extremely powerful Cree LEDs that are positioned to maximize visibility in all directions. Comparable to a Xenon strobe, the 20ms pulse produces a bright flash. When powered by the same power source, several D2xC2LD3 units will automatically synchronize, without the need for any additional sync modules on the circuit. Installation can be streamlined and wiring expenses decreased by powering both the horn and LED light from the same source. 79.3cd effective candela rating per UL1971 standard. The device is IECEx and ATEX certified for Zone 2 and 22 hazardous environments, as well as UL/cUL approved for Class I Div 2, Class II Div 2, and Class I Zone 2/22.
