The Napco GEM-P9600 is the Gemini hybrid burglary and residential fire control panel with an integral digital communicator, supplied here with its transformer. Integrally an 8 zone panel, it grows to 96 zones using zone expansion modules, wireless receiver modules, and 4 zone keypads, so one panel covers everything from a small hardwired install to a large partitioned system.
Its modular design mixes hardwired and wireless points freely, supports 2 wire and 4 wire smoke detectors for residential fire, and divides into up to 8 independent area partitions with up to 96 individually coded users, each carrying a programmable authority level. An 800 event log, a 255 event schedule, guard tour programming, and Overview Mode monitoring of the whole system from one keypad round out a feature set aimed at commercial as much as residential work.
The panel is programmed from the keypad in Dealer or User mode, or downloaded from a PC with Napco Quickloader software. An RS-232 panel port supports home automation and networking integration at 9600 baud, and up to 64 X-10 devices can be addressed with the GEM-X10KIT interface. Adding the H1217 kit converts it to the mercantile GEM-P9600M in a heavy duty UL commercial enclosure.
