The Honeywell Intellisense DT-500 is a 35' x 40' Pet Immune Passive Infrared Detector.
The DT-500 provides multiple and large animal immunity up to 100 pounds (45 kg), yet still accurately detects humans throughout its field-of-view. Both PIR and microwave technologies analyze signal inputs to provide the best level of animal immunity by differentiating between humans and animals. The custom-designed Fresnel lens provides the same sensitivity at the edge of the pattern as exists directly in front of the sensor. This means excellent capture at the edges of the pattern without increasing the sensor's overall gain. An on-board micro controller with Analog-to-Digital (Ato-D) conversion of incoming signals accurately recognizes the unique signal a human makes when crossing the pattern, and alarms only if this signal matches. No loss of sensitivity as room temperature nears body temperature. Mirror optics provide Look-Down Zones to Catch Intruder Creep Mirror optics provide look-down zones directly beneath the sensor to detect an intruder attempting to sneak below the sensor.
