The Honeywell-944TSP-BR is a brown magnetic contact with larger terminals for easier wiring.
When a gap is created between the contact and magnet that is greater than 3/4", the sensor recognizes the access point has been opened and an alarm signal is sent to the control panel.
The contact is installed on the door/window frame, and the magnet is installed on the door/window. The contact works with a corresponding 3/8" magnet and uses staggered "T" terminals to ensure a reliable electrical connection.
