Gentex 8240PY 24VDC 4-Wire Photoelectric Smoke Detector (Piezo/Y)

The Gentex 8240PY is a 24 VDC, 4-wire photoelectric smoke detector with reverse/local 90dBA piezo/y-integrated horns and 135F fixed temperature self-restoration.

Maintain optimal fire detection performance with included three-position test feature that can simulate real smoke conditions -- a unique testing system exclusive to Gentex's 8000/8003 Series. As with other detectors in the series, this detector includes one Form A dry relay contact for panel connection, with a Form C auxiliary for remote and releasing device services.

The 8240PY can be easily mounted on any standard junction box and includes red pulsing LEDs for alarm and maintenance notification. Perfect for any residental or commercial environment.
