Kidde K-270 Series Non-Coded Fire Alarm Stations are designed to be durable, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective to install.

The station is offered in the subsequent operational and functional configurations:

- The K-270 Series is a break glass initiating station with a single action. The contacts can be normally open (NO), normally closed (NC), or a combination of NO/NC. The K-270 Series is equipped with screw terminals for field connection. The wire leads of the K-270A Series Manual Stations measure 6 inches (150mm).

- The K-270P Series is a normally open, break glass pre-signal station. Pulling the lever causes all pre-signal indicating devices to emit an alarm. Inserting and turning a key will activate an evacuation alarm. There are screw terminals available for field connection.

All non-coded stations can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted. For flush mounting, a 4 inch standard square North American box with a single-gang plaster cover is required. For surface mounting the K-270 Series or K-270P Series, a weatherproof enclosure consisting of a cast box, steel box, or housing is required.
