The Genesis line of ceiling life safety and emergency communications speakers and speaker-strobes combine high performance output with a low profile design to provide a versatile and effective life safety signal solution. These devices are designed to be discreetly mounted overhead, but they are also rated for wall-mounted applications.

High and low candela models of clear-lens speaker-strobes are available, with 15 to 95 or 95 to 177 cd output, respectively (see ordering information). The ceiling speakers' 14 W to 2 W power range enables devices to be easily fine-tuned for maximum benefit at the lowest system overhead.

With conveniently located switches, the light output and wattage settings can be adjusted. However, they are locked in place to prevent unauthorized modification after installation is complete.

The NPFA 520 Hz requirement for newly constructed commercial sleeping areas is met by high-fidelity models. They also produce voice audio output that is crisp, clear, and highly intelligible over large areas.

These low-profile appliances have textured housings in architecturally neutral white or conspicuous life safety red. Optional markings of ALERT or FIRE make them ideal for applications that require differentiation between life safety and mass notification alerts.
