The Edwards 867, 869, and 869D series are surface mount, flush mount, or panel mount electronic horns with high decibel levels for interior application.

The gray, corrosion-resistant surface mount box that comes with the unit has been developed for surface mounting of the 867 series. The box is 3 5/16" (84mm) deep and 5 5/8" (143mm) square in size.

The 869 and 869D series are made to be mounted flush or on a panel. They attach to a standard 4" (102mm) square back box with extension ring for flush mounting, with a minimum depth of 3" (76mm). Extension rings and back boxes are not included. Use only the provided mounting plate without the back box for panel mounting.

Electronic horns from the 867 and 869 series are intended for use in hallways and manufacturing facilities. It is utilized for timing, scheduling, general alarm, and warning applications everywhere a distinct, audible signal is required.

The 869D is made for use in fire alarm systems and other situations where electrical surveillance of the signaling circuit field wiring is necessary.
