Edwards Signaling 5531M-24AQ Adaptatone Millennium Multiple Tone Signal Four Outputs Electronic Audible Signal, Multi-Tone - Four Outputs, 15 Watt, 24V DC Also known as: 5531M24AQ, ED-5531M24AQ Edwards Signaling 5531M-24AQ Tone selectable, signaling device. 55 high-decibel field-selectable tones. 24V input card. 24V AC/DC operating voltage.
Designed for industrial applications that demand a robust microprocessor and high decibel output. Emergency warning systems, plant evacuation and security alarms, process monitoring, shift notification horns, and paging signals are a few examples of typical applications.
Surface mounting or 1/2" (13mm) conduit can be used with the 5531M.
A robust industrial tone-selectable signaling device that can produce volume-controlled, high-decibel tones is the Edwards 5531M Series Adaptatone Millennium. Field-wired, generally open contacts or an external voltage source, such as the output of a PLC, operating at 24 VDC or 120 VAC, can both activate four tones. The Cat. No. 55384 and/or Cat. No. 55384R Adaptatone Signal Actuators can provide normally open contacts.
27 unique tones are produced by the device's microprocessor circuit by adjusting tiny internal dip switches. The programmed tones function according to a pyramid-style scheme of priority.
