FlexiDome2X Day/Night IP cameras are progressive scan CCD cameras in a compact, high-impact rated, vandal-resistant housing.
Equipped with 20-bit DSP with 2Xdynamic, they have a wide dynamic range for sharper, more detailed images with outstanding color reproduction. They can quad-stream video simultaneously on two H.264 streams, an I-frame recording stream, and an MJPEG stream. Features such as multicasting, internet streaming and iSCSI recording are fully supported.

The Bosch NDN-498V03-21PS FlexiDome2X Day/Night IP Camera is a network dome camera that is resistant to vandalism, can operate both during the day and at night, and has a lens that can be adjusted to accommodate different focal lengths. The camera unit has a 1/3-inch progressive scan CCD, which allows it to create motion blur-free video during the daytime. Additionally, it has a 2.8-10mm zoom lens, which allows it to cover a wide range of areas. The ability of this CCTV camera is enhanced by 20-bit digital signal and image processing, which enables more details to be seen in the video image.
While the NDN-498V03-21PS camera changes automatically from day mode to night mode and vice versa, its NightSense feature, when combined with the SensUp dynamic, enables moonlight-viewing (up to 0.0099 lux in monochrome) by increasing the IP camera's sensitivity. This is accomplished by reducing the amount of light received by the camera sensor. On the other hand, the 2X-Dynamic Engine is capable of producing images with a high dynamic range from daylight visuals with a high contrast. Motion+ is a video analysis system that incorporates a motion analysis algorithm that provides object size filtering and advanced tamper detection capabilities. It has three different power options: Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), 24 Volts AC, and 12 Volts DC, which increases its flexibility.
