The MIC IP fusion 9000i camera is an advanced PTZ surveillance platform built for mission-critical applications that require early detection. With dual visible/thermal imaging capabilities, the MIC IP fusion 9000i camera is the optimal choice for demanding and high-quality imaging requirements. The ruggedized, distinctive design of the camera is well-suited for extreme locations and adverse weather conditions, such as high winds, rain, fog, ice, and snow. Utilizing Bosch's core experience in material and mechanical engineering, the camera provides the most sophisticated image and positioning system on the market.

In the same enclosure, the MIC IP fusion 9000i camera integrates a high-performance thermal imaging core with a 1080p starlight camera. This enables the camera to simultaneously transmit thermal and visible video feeds, maximizing the capability to detect and respond to long-range threats.

The thermal imager utilizes the most recent uncooled vanadium oxide microbolometer technology. This high-sensitivity thermal imager features an Athermal lens with a constant focal length that optimizes the field of vision and detection distance. Adjustable contrast and gain settings enable operators to optimize the image for the highest quality video transmission. In addition, a multitude of user-selectable thermal color modes are provided for further image enhancement. QVGA resolution (320 pixels) and VGA resolution (640 pixels) versions are offered, with a choice of low (9Hz) or high (30/60Hz) frame rates, depending on the model mix.

Visible imager: The 1080p60-capable visible imager is equipped with starlight technology and a 30x optical/12x digital zoom lens that produces high-quality images, outstanding color performance, and unrivaled low-light sensitivity. A wide dynamic range provides accurate image reproduction even in the most difficult high-contrast settings.

Five user-selectable scene modes with pre-configured parameters improve the photography for a variety of applications, including Motion, Low light, and Vibrant. Different scene modes are available for day and night situations. The thermal imager offers 12 thermal mode options, including White hot, Black hot, Red Light, Softlight, and Sunset, that can be selected by the user.

The camera is built on the most efficient and powerful H.264 and H.265/HEVC encoding technology available. The camera can transmit high-quality, high-resolution video with a minimal network load. H.265 is the new compression standard for IP video surveillance systems since its encoding efficiency has been doubled.


With a continuous pan rotation of 360 degrees, tilt control of 296 degrees, and rapid pan (120 degree/second) and tilt (90 degree/second) operational speeds, the camera outperforms other cameras in its class.

The camera can be powered by a regular 24 VAC power source or by a network-compliant 95W High PoE (Bosch's version of High PoE). With the Bosch 95W High PoE Midspan (NPD-9501A, offered separately), a single (Cat5e/Cat6e) cable connection delivers everything necessary to view, power, and control a camera. As cameras do not need a local power source, the use of High PoE makes installation simpler and less expensive.
