The class-leading reading performance of the Bosch ARD-FPBEW2-H2 Fingerprint Reader, Multiclass BioEntry W2 enhances the user experience by providing fast matching and rapid response. Due to the enrollment of fingerprints and management of cardholder data within a single system, integration with AMS and BIS/ACE management systems offers the highest level of convenience. The fingerprint templates can be securely stored in the management system's database in order to protect the privacy and security of the data. This also ensures rapid reading performance under optimal installation conditions for 1:1 matching in less than one second (card plus fingerprint).

The BioEntry W2 is resistant to vandalism because it can withstand a high level of impact. Featuring IP67 ingress protection, BioEntry W2 is an ideal choice for outdoor applications. The device provides superior protection against invasive moisture, dust and even liquids.

In addition to fingerprint authentication, BioEntry W2's dual-frequency RFID technology supports both low frequency (125 kHz) and high frequency (13.56MHz) RFID standards. BioEntry W2 supports the majority of RFID card standards, including MIFARE, HID iCLASS, DESFire, HID Prox, and EM, with a single device.

BioEntry W2 includes technology to prevent forged fingerprints. Using dynamic pattern, liveness feature, and unnatural feature analysis, the engine detects fake fingerprints made from a variety of materials, such as clay, rubber, glue, paper, and film. BioEntry W2 is equipped to read Bosch-coded Mifare credentials, allowing for simple configuration and a high level of security.
