The FALCON EX from BEA combines a microwave activation sensor with an explosion-proof/flame-proof casing, making it the perfect choice for usage in unusual settings including chemical industry, oil refining, and agricultural.

The FALCON EX can be positioned anywhere between 11 1/2 and 23 feet to accommodate any industrial application. The mounting height range for BEA's FALCON EX XL for lower mounting heights is 6 12 feet to 11 12 feet. With a mounting height range of 11 12 feet to 21 feet, the FALCON EX WIDE is ideal for large detection fields.

The explosion- and flame-proof housing is an IP66 housing with a NEMA 4X water-proof rating. This residence meets the requirements of the UL Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, and D; Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III*.
