The MC-25 is a time delay with a delay on make and a delay on break. It works perfectly when an automatic door has either an electric strike or a magnetic lock installed. The lock will be released by the delay on break timer, and the door will be able to open and remain open for a predetermined amount of time thanks to the delay on make timer.
