7140-315-626 Adams Rite Electric Strike 12VDC Fail Safe with faceplates in Satin Chrome Finish
The 7140 series Electric Strike with 4-7/8" faceplates provides remote electrical control of any door equipped with an Adams Rite 4500, 4700, or 4900 Series (or similar) Deadlatch or cylindrical (key-in-knob/lever type locks) with 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection. Here, the electrical actuation unlocks strike jaw and releases latchbolt so that the door can be opened. It readily fits existing setup for discontinued Adams Rite 7040, 7840N, 7850 series electric strikes.
It is recommended for use in hollow metal or wood doors and jambs
